The Xavier PERSwatch model will allow persons with medical problems to get help anywhere there is cellular coverage. Pushing the help button will connect you to our Medical Alert Call Center where we can determine what kind of help you require. Even if you don't know where you are, our trained operator can see your location in front of her using a TRUE built-in GPS receiver. Using true GPS allows you to see an accurate location (within 30 feet) of the persons location. Assisted GPS (A-GPS) units on the market can be off a half mile or more!
Although the Xavier does not lock on the wrist (Most lockable watches can be removed with little brute force except ankle bracelets that are court ordered), this unit can be locked on clothing for persons that won't wear it on their wrist. Locked on clothing, the person is much less likely to remove the device.
You have the ability to set up user-defined parameters that will alert you if the unit leaves an area, or speed violation (letting you know that the person monitored is in a car). You can call the person anytime and the person can call one of four preprogrammed numbers, or the call center in an emergency.
